When the staff of CRB Automotive began thinking about “A” stories for each episode, we began searching the Upper Lake Melville area for anything motorized that is still usable. The woods industry was a big deal in this region, and then one morning we woke to find the paper mill in Newfoundland was closing meaning the supply chain of Black Spruce out of Labrador was done. Found one old skidder that still ran but was missing parts. Never having a skidder in North West River, the boys got a little crazy over such a powerful vehicle. There were no other skidders in the region which still have winches attached. Thus the need for us to cut our old tow truck in half just to use the winch. #SkidderDone
